President & Chairman of the Board
Bill Reynolds
Bill Reynolds is the founder and president of the W.W. Reynolds Foundation. A Boulder native, he established the W.W. Reynolds Companies in 1966, focusing on real estate development, leasing, and property management. Under his leadership, the company has developed over 3 million square feet of commercial and residential properties. Bill has served on various community boards, including the Boulder Chamber, the Boulder YMCA, and the Board of Trustees for the Boulder Community Hospital Foundation. He was a founding member and president of the CU Real Estate Center and the first president of the University of Colorado Real Estate Foundation. He is the de-facto chairman of the Henpeckkers….some old dudes like himself who meet monthly on stuff that interests them.

Jane Reynolds
Jane Reynolds is a director of the W.W. Reynolds Foundation. She has been actively involved in its initiatives, contributing to its mission of enhancing educational opportunities and empowering individuals to pursue meaningful lives. Jane's dedication to philanthropy and community development aligns with the foundation's values of individualism, freedom, self-reliance, and happiness. Jane has a degree in education from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She and her dog Thomas Jefferson (TJ) are regulars on the trails around Baseline Lake.

Secretary & Board Member
Gary Powell
Gary Powell serves as the secretary of the board of the W.W. Reynolds Foundation, overseeing foundation records and ensuring regulatory compliance. A founding tax partner at KPMG’s Boulder office, Gary has extensive experience across technology, telecommunications, real estate, retail, high-wealth families, and venture capital. He also contributes as the Director of Financial and Estate Planning at Colorado Financial Management in Boulder, where he sits on the Equity Committee. Previously, Gary held a leadership role in financial planning at Sargent Bickham Lagudis in Boulder. His achievements include a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Colorado Venture Capital Association. Gary holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky.

Bob Hottman
Robert (Bob) Hottman is a director of the W.W. Reynolds Foundation. He brings extensive experience in financial management and accounting, contributing to the foundation's fiscal oversight and strategic financial planning. Bob's expertise ensures the foundation's resources are effectively utilized to maximize impact. Bob served as the chief executive officer of the accounting consulting firm EKS&H until EKS&H combined with Plante Moran in October 2018. His passion is to serve others and he has often spoken on organizational culture. Bob has served on various non-profit boards and chaired many of these including Children's Hospital Colorado, CSU STRATA, and The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. Bob has been honored with the Bill Daniels Ethical Leader of the Year award from Denver University, the Dell Hock Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Robert Blankenship Heart Award from the Denver Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. At Colorado State University he has been named a Distinguished Alumni and Hall of Fame inductee in the College of Business. He also has received the I Have a Dream Foundation’s Dream Maker Award.

Eric Alston
Eric Alston is a director at the W.W. Reynolds Foundation. He brings extensive experience in education and research, particularly in economic institutions, constitutionalism, and the rule of law. Eric's background involves applied and academic experience situated at the intersection of law, economics, and public policy. His expertise supports the foundation's mission to promote a better understanding of civil liberties and the free enterprise economic system. Eric is a Scholar in Residence in the Finance Division and the Faculty Director of the Hernando de Soto Capital Markets Program in the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Amy Wilson
Amy Wilson currently serves as Controller for W.W. Reynolds Companies and has been a valued member of the organization since 2017. Her professional background is diverse, having begun her career in the insurance industry before contributing to the start-up of a solar company and managing a small data center. Throughout her career, she has overseen a wide range of operational, financial, and administrative functions, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on business management. Amy is a Colorado native earning her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Metropolitan State University and her Master of Science in Management and Organization from the University of Colorado Denver.

Executive Director
Liz Stapp
Liz Stapp, J.D., serves as Executive Director of WWRF, bringing a combined background in academic leadership, business ethics and governance, and legal practice. After fifteen years in academia, she recently retired from the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business, where she was Associate Chair and Senior Instructor in the Accounting and Business Law Division. At Leeds, Liz taught and helped develop key courses including Business Ethics, Business Law, Corporate Boards, and the second year “BASE” capstone. She also served as Faculty Director of the first and second year curriculum, leading a 30 person faculty team to streamline and coordinate required business courses, AACSB accreditation work, and academic accommodations for Leeds students. She was selected as the Accounting Division’s faculty representative on the Leeds Executive Committee and as the Leeds representative to the campus-wide Executive Committee of the Boulder Faculty Assembly. By invitation, she served on the campus wide Faculty Leadership Institute. Liz’s teaching has been recognized across her career. She received the Frascona Teaching Excellence Award in 2019 and was a finalist each year she was eligible. She twice received the Marinus Smith Award from the CU Parents Association. Earlier, she taught business law and ethics at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, where she received the Outstanding Student Organization Advisor Award and a “Pioneer Professor” designation from the athletic department. Liz has remained an actively licensed Colorado attorney for over 25 years, admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States and within the State of Colorado. She began her legal career at Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher’s Denver office and later completed two permanent federal clerkships in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Outside of work, she serves on the Niwot High School Education Foundation Board, has served on the Parlando School of Music Board of Trustees, and developed a mock trial curriculum for Boulder Country Day School.
